Steering Committee

The Steering committee consists of women from Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Baha'i faith, representing our diversity.

Each year one faith group hosts the event.

The St.Louis Women's Interfaith Conference was the first recipient of the Melachi Award for Interfaith Relations established in 1986 by Temple Israel to mark its 100th. aniversary.The award is designed not only to recognize outstanding program and  individuals contributing to interfaith cooperation, but also to create greater awareness of, and interest

in , the rich opportunities for interaction between faiths. An ecumenical panel of judges makes the selection. A cash prize accompanies the award.

Funding

Funding

 The Conference has been financed by a nominal registration fees, which includes lunch and a light refreshment. In addition, sponsoring group, organizations and individual congregations make contributions to the budget.
