Women's Interfaith Conference

In the Name of God most Gracious Most Merciful

 Women Interfaith Conference

Since 1981, hundreds of St. Louis women have gathered each spring to learn about the beliefs, values, customs and practices  of religion other then their own. They have a chance, not only to listen the presentations of experts representing all faith, but also to meet in small groups for more intimate

person-to-person sharing.

The topics change each year, but the spirit of tolerance, sensitive inquiry, and interfaith understanding has remained constant.

As an effort toward increasing interfaith understanding, the conference planners have published this for the review and possible adaptation by other communities.

AIMS

At  present, the conference is designed to promote understanding, respect and cooperation among women of all faiths and to facilitate opportunities for dialogue. The ultimate goal is to involve all faith groups in the crafting of the annual conference. The program allows women of faith to examine the ways that different religious affiliations shape a person's view of the world and opinions on contemporary issues.
